I took this photo as a reference for a painting, so I needed it to be something interesting, and this is what came out.
As usually I was too lazy for browsing stock photos in DA when I need references.
And you're fencing? Wow...
Yup, I started fencing a month ago. At the beginning it was a bit boring, but when I got over the basics the real fun begun.
The real fun = thrusting others and winning.
I've been fighting with various weapons for over a year now.
Though all of them are built of superlon and other soft materials on PVC pipe, and the whole weapon is covered with duct tape so it won't fall apart. It's funny too, and doesn't hurt too much even if you get hit harder.
About which I really hope that I will finish it in time, and it won`t be the same as with my recent drawing which was intended for a contest, but the deadline is long gone, and it`s half-finished somewhere in my computer.
